One challenge that ACIT has faced throughout the process of implementing the WSCC AtlantiCare grant is getting other teachers and staff members on board with activities and implementing them within the school. We have a solid membership on the school health committee, but meeting attendance can be sparse at times due to coaching obligations and additional after school activities and personal responsibilities. We are a county-wide school, so some staff members and community members do not always live in close proximity to the school. My question is how do other schools motivate staff members to get involved with the committee to roll out the initiatives and activities funded through the WSCC AtlantiCare grant?
